Multi Crew Pilot Training Endorsement (MCP TE) Course

For professional instructors ready to teach MCC or ATPL training themselves. Aerosphere’s MCP TE course meets CASA Part 142 syllabus requirements and prepares you to deliver multi-crew training in the airline training environment.

What makes our course different

Built on our own approved MCC training program

Our instructors built the MCP TE course around the training program we run every day, so you learn to teach using the same briefs and materials we use in the classroom.

    Here's what makes it work

A CASA Part 142 approved endorsement course, built directly from Aerosphere’s own MCC training program.

    • CASA Part 142 approved training syllabus
    • Built on our current MCC program, using a proven framework
    • Includes ground briefings, simulator training and a full flight test
    • Two and three-candidate course options, with dates set flexibly at enrolment

How it Works

How the MCP TE course runs

Your MCP TE course runs over five to seven days, depending on your group size, combining online briefings with hands-on simulator training.

  • Stage

    Online briefing

You complete your initial briefing online, ahead of the in-person component.

  • Stage

    Ground briefings and simulator training

You deliver short briefs, long briefs and MCC training sessions across the remaining days, working through our approved Part 142 syllabus.

  • Stage

    Flight test

You sit your flight test on the final day, covering a ground theory and administration component followed by a flight simulator exercise, in the standard format of a CASA instructor rating assessment.

This will be completed by one of our in-house examiners.

An MCP TE lets you deliver MCC training as an instructor, once you’re inducted on an operator’s Part 142 approval. Aerosphere’s MCP TE course is built on our own CASA approved MCC training program.

Yes, but CASA 62/20 sets additional experience requirements for MCP TE holders who want to teach ATPL training. In summary, you need either an instructor approval on a transport category aircraft, or to currently be delivering command training under an operator’s approved check and training system. Get in touch if you have questions about how this applies to you.

No. The MCP TE doesn’t require a G1, G2 or G3 rating. Contact us for more information.

Your flight test runs on the final day of your course, in the standard format of a CASA instructor rating assessment. You complete a ground theory and administration component, followed by a flight simulator exercise.

We run MCP TE courses monthly, but we don’t publish fixed dates. We work out your course date directly with you at enrolment, to keep things as flexible as possible on your end.

A two-candidate course costs $9,625 + GST per person. A three-candidate course brings that down to $9,150 + GST per person.
